\n\n | \n It’s Friday again, and I know what you’re thinking: “I’ve got all these business ideas… now what?” \nLook, I get it. \nIt’s easy to feel like you need to work on everything to keep all your options open. \nBut here’s the truth—you don’t need a million ideas, you need one clear, focused path. \nLet me show you how to get there. \nLet’s Start with Your Why and Non-Negotiable's\nIn last week’s newsletter, I walked you through figuring out your why and setting your non-negotiables. \nIf you missed it or didn’t get a chance to fill out the worksheet, don’t worry—you can still grab it. \nClick here to download the worksheet \nNow that you’ve got that foundation, it’s time to dive into evaluating your business ideas. \nWhy You Need This Process (Let’s Be Real…)\nWhen you don’t narrow down your business idea, you end up spinning your wheels. \nTrust me, I’ve been there. \nBack when I was juggling multiple ideas, I felt busy—but I wasn’t making real progress. \nI wasn’t clear on my why or my non-negotiables. \nWhat does that look like?\nIt looks like late nights working on something that doesn’t feel right, hustling for an idea you’re not even excited about, and eventually feeling like you’re chasing your tail. \nSound familiar? \nHere’s Why That’s a Problem\nThis leads to burnout—fast. \nYou end up throwing energy at ideas that might not even align with the life you want to build. \nAnd worse? You get nowhere. \nIf you’re not clear on why you’re doing this in the first place (your why) or what you absolutely will not compromise on (your non-negotiables), you’re building a business that runs your life, not the other way around. \nI learned this the hard way. \nWhen I first started my business, I didn’t know my non-negotiables. \nI said yes to everything—1:1 clients, social media marketing, working weekends. And guess what? \nI hated it. \nI built a business that sucked up all my time and didn’t fit the life I wanted. \nSo I had to go back to square one: my why and my non-negotiables. \n\n Step 1: Brainstorm Freely (No Judging Yourself)\nStart by writing down all your ideas. \nI’m serious—everything. \nDon’t filter anything out yet. You’ll sort through it later. \nThis step is all about seeing the big picture. \nStep 2: Evaluate Each Idea (Time for Tough Love)\nNow, here’s where we get serious. \nTake a look at each idea and ask yourself: \n
Look, I know it’s hard to let go of certain ideas, but this is where the magic happens. \nYou’re narrowing it down to the one idea that makes sense for you right now. \nStep 3: Choose One Idea (Here’s Where It Gets Real)\nThis is the part where you commit to one idea. I know, I know—it feels scary, like you’re locking yourself into something and closing the door on all your other ideas. \nBut you’re not. You’re just focusing on what’s going to move the needle right now. \nTrust me on this—once you commit to one idea, you’ll have so much more clarity and energy. \nPro Tip: The idea that scares you a little? That’s probably the one with the most potential. Lean into it—it’s scary because it’s pushing you out of your comfort zone. (I promise, that’s a good thing.) \n\n So, What Happens After You Narrow Down Your Idea?\nNow that you’ve chosen your idea, it’s time to go deep. \nYou’ll start creating a plan, setting realistic goals, and getting your business off the ground. \nNo more bouncing between ideas. You’re focused, and you’re ready to make serious progress. \nNeed Some Extra Help?\nI’ve created a Business Idea Evaluation Template to guide you through this process step by step. \nIt’ll help you break down each idea and figure out which one is really worth your time. \nClick here to download your template \n\n Take a breath, grab the template, and let’s get started. \n\n \n\n\n \n
